Last week.......
Last week was spent taking images on my local patch around the Moidart, Lochaber area of the West coast of Scotland. It was a exceptionally sunny and warm week that kept the sun well into the evening. This gave us some long evening walks with exceptional light levels - I'm so glad we don't have rolls of film these days I would have used far to many!

Above and below were taken during an evening walk along Loch nan Ceall, near Arisaig.
An extremely quiet evening no one was around, the weather and sea were completely calm but it was extremely cold once we lost the warmth of the sun. Lots of small islands dot this area - far too many to count and many had seals lounging on them enjoying the last of the sun.
We watched an otter swim amongst the islands whilst we walked.
Below were taken on a drive to Mallaig, a stop at Traigh, near the Sands of Morar, and the pebble beaches at Loch Nan Umah.
